Sand and Snow

Ephemeral Art is a form of art that is intended to be temporary and disappear or be dismantled after a short period of time.

So why make art that isnt going to last?                                                  Consider the difference between hearing a song live at a concert and playing a song on your stereo. Both can be enjoyed, but only one where you can experience its creation. You can look at a re-creation of a piece of art, such as a photo, and admire it. But if you happen to be there you get the unique opportunity to experience its creation. The live song will end just like our sand, snow and pumpkin carvings will eventually fade away. But you were there to tell the story.

The art of sculpting sand and snow is considered to be an ephemeral art. It is created for a specific purpose, meant to last for a specific period of time.                                                                                                                Our ephemeral sand and snow artists have years of experience in both competition and commercial installations. We can have the materials brought in and the art work completed in time for the opening of your event OR we can time our work to take place during the event. Adding a level of performance to the creation of the art.                                                                                                   In either situation we pay close attention to the details of the sculpture, but when we create during the event we always make the guest as important as the art. We talk with the guests, we answer their questions and we even pose for a picture or two.

Of course our artist are skilled but it is our professionalism that puts the shine on the package. ART Club teams arrive in appropriate ART Club attire and on time, prepared to perform. Teams are breifed on, and are constantly aware of the site regulations that are unique to each project.

We consider the performance to be as important as the finished product.
